Where the information comes from
Business-contact information may come from publicly available professional or business sources, including employer or company websites, public professional profiles, Companies House or similar public corporate sources where relevant, and other publicly available business information. Information may also come directly from you or from your organisation during correspondence.
Purpose and lawful basis
We use this information for relevant, targeted B2B business development and partnership outreach, and to manage related correspondence and contact preferences.
Where applicable, we may rely on legitimate interests for proportionate B2B business development. Before doing so, we consider the purpose, whether the processing is necessary, and the effect on the individual’s interests, rights and freedoms. Legitimate interests is not treated as an automatic basis for every contact; the circumstances and other applicable rules must also be considered.
Your right to object to direct marketing
You may object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing at any time by emailing claire@semanticweavetech.com. If you object, we will stop using your personal data for further direct marketing. We may retain only the information needed on a suppression or do-not-contact record so that your objection is respected.

We keep business-contact information only as long as reasonably necessary for relevant outreach, responding to correspondence, record-keeping and compliance. Suppression or do-not-contact information may be kept longer where necessary to prevent further marketing.
